I'm putting this out there cause my foot problem nearly killed me. I had swelling and pain for 2 years after my surgery. No one could tell me why. My doctor had dismissed my feet problems as permanent. I was told to get a new job that kept me off my feet.
What was actually wrong?
I had a blood clot somewhere probably in my groin effecting the blood flow in both my feet. The swelling and pain was caused by the clot. After two years they bound my feet tightly with braces to keep down swelling and help me not pull the tendons on the bottom of my feet. They changed my blood flow tension and popped the blood clot loose. The clot went to my lungs and I had a massive pulmonary embolism. I had a 50% chance of living. Luckily I made that coin flip. I will spend the next 6 months getting better and my lungs may never recover completely. I'm hoping they do. Oh and if I had followed the get a job that kept me off my feet I might be dead.
